Lake Murray

Lake Murray is about 1 1/2 hours from Oklahoma City. Surface conditions in the summer get into the 80?s. Diving below the Thermocline can get into the 60?s in the summer. The bottom composition is very silty. On the weekends the more popular sites get very stirred up. Although access is a bit of a goat trail down to the water, diving at the old tower is the choice of most divers.

Beaver Lake

Beaver Lake waters are deep, clean and clear bringing scuba divers from not only Arkansas and Oklahoma but also Missouri, Kansas and more.  Beaver Lake is optimal for scuba diving because the water is deep (300 feet in areas) and visibility is great making for interesting sites.  On the North side of the lake you can often view the submerged expanse of the lake. There are sunken boats and old cars, but in some areas there are even sunken statues, placed by residents.
